We wanted to inform you of an upcoming HIPAA breach notification deadline March 1st, 2021. This deadline is for ANY breaches of PHI regardless of the size to be reported to the HHS.
Recent audit findings found most businesses did not satisfy this requirement, and is an important factor to avoid audits and potential fines.
