About the Author
Anne Marie Anderson is a licensed attorney in Michigan and Massachusetts with more than 25 years of experience as a legal and compliance professional. She facilitates the establishment and improvement of effective compliance plans, addressing existing gaps and devising strategies that mitigate the risks of financial and reputational impact. She has extensive knowledge in regulatory law and health care law including HIPAA, Medicare, FWA, and AKS. She has advised health care providers, health plans and national corporations in various roles including outside counsel, in house counsel and Director of Compliance.
Her knowledge directly translates to her position as Director of Product Content with Compliancy Group, in which she develops and oversees compliance content for the the product team. Compliancy Group’s industry leading health care compliance software platform, The Guard, helps businesses address health care compliance with guided, ongoing support.
Anne Marie holds a JD from Boston College, and a BA from Dartmouth College. She also serves as a Committee member on the Health Care Law Section Substantive Law Committee and the Payors subcommittee for the Michigan Bar.
